GAME OF SKATE 2008

Great day for a Game of Skate at Vinny's Skatepark May 4th.

40 entered the game and that made $200.00 for the winners.

First place went to Colten Leman $100.00

Second place went to John Neil $50.00

Third places went to Austin Jensen and Brenen Jones $25.00 each.

ELEVATED CLOTHING gave thier real RAD shirts out to the top four guys.

Mark Fountain cooked up some dogs and took some sweet shots of the event.

Pat Mccreery and Jordan Fountain did a great job as MC.

Thank you to all that entered and helped out in this event!!!

TOP SHOP CONTEST

Vinny's Skatepark V-BOYZ Skate team went to the National event call TOP SHOP held at 3rd LAIR Skatepark in Minneapolis Minnesota April 25-27, 2008

The Team was awesome and skated real RAD!! We all got to see and skate with some of our nations best skaters and WOW what a show. I would like to thank all of the V-BOYZ for all of thier hard work and dedication to skating and for being a positive representation for Vinny's Skatepark and the Nebraska skate scene. Congratulations to Pat McCreery, Jordan Fountain, John Neal, Greg Fountain, Lloyd Kocourek, and Steven Serratore. Good job guys!!

Minnesota was a blast!! The guys killed 3rd Lair skatepark anytime they wanted, shredding the indoor and outdoor sections. Carving bowls 4 times the size of Vinny's and one was 10' deep. Hitting the mile of street section with rails 2' tall, banks, boxes, transition and a whole lot more.

The second park we hit was Showcase Indoor Skatepark. This park had the best ramps money can buy, so smooth and perfect. (a little slick). The BOYZ tore this park up for hours each night. It had a huge 1/2 bowl 11' with a lot of vert and attached to a vert ramp. Tons of transition, banks, rails, roll-ins, gaps, and the best of all (The foam pit)!!!!

All the guys got a lot of free swag from Skate Companies, ate like kings, swam, hot tub, and had a lot of fun.

Do I hear a road trip coming??

A special thanks goes out to ( Mark Fountain ). This guy set us up!! Hooked us up with the contest, got us there, got in with a good hotel close, supported the Team, took all the pictures, and got us home. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
